How to resize an image
Upload an image and enter the target width and height in pixels using the available controls. If an aspect-ratio option is provided, keep it enabled when you want to avoid stretching the subject. Preview the result and download it when the dimensions look right.
Pixels and aspect ratio
Pixel dimensions describe the width and height of an image. Changing both values independently can distort people or objects. Preserving the aspect ratio keeps the original proportions while reducing or enlarging the image.
Choose dimensions for the destination
Check the size requirements of the website, profile, or document where the image will appear. Enlarging a small image cannot recreate detail that was not in the original, while reducing dimensions can lower file size. Keep a full-resolution original for later use.
